NBA TV presenter Kristen Ledlow says she was robbed at gunpoint at her home over the weekend and will be taking time off from social media in the wake of the incident.
The 28-year-old host of NBA Inside Stuff said on Twitter and Instagram Sunday that she was held up the day before 'by three men who knew who I was, where I lived and were waiting for me when I got home.'
She says in addition to stealing her car, purse and phone, the thieves took her 'sense of security.'

Ledlow posted this message about the armed robbery on her social media accounts Sunday
The sportscaster announced she will be taking a break from social media a result of the incident but she says she 'will not become a slave to fear.'
Ledlow did not say where the armed robbery took place. Online records suggest the 28-year-old sports journalist lives in the Piedmont Heights section of Atlanta where NBA TV is based.
On Monday, the Atlanta Police Department confirmed that the TV host was robbed and carjacked by armed suspects in 1900 block of Monroe Drive just before 3.20pm Saturday, reported Atlanta Journal Constitution.
Ledlow told investigators a group of suspects, described only as African-American males, emerged from a newer-model silver sedan and approached her as she pulled up outside her apartment building.

Police said one of the thieves pointed a gun at Ledlow and got inside her red 2016 Chevrolet Corvette.
After Ledlow reported the carjacking, police used the car's tracking device to locate the Corvette, which was found abandoned in southwest Atlanta 25 minutes later.
As of Monday morning, no arrests have been made in connection to the armed robbery.
A graduate of Southeastern University, 5ft 8in Ledlow was an All-American volleyball player and set school scoring records as a basketball player while double majoring in broadcast and communication, according to her personal website.
Ledlow got her start in TV journalism hosting The Good News Show on ABC27 in Tallahassee and serving as a sideline reporter on 97.9 ESPN Radio.
She moved to Atlanta in 2013 to co-host The Opening Drive with Rick Kamla and Randy Cross at 92.9 The Game. She also worked as a field reporter for FOX Sports NEXT covering SEC and ACC football and basketball in the southeast.
In 2014, Ledlow was hired by NBA TV as a presenter on NBA Inside Stuff alongside former NBA player Grant Hill.

Away from the basketball court, the 28-year-old was crowned Miss Capital City USA 2012 and placed Top 5 at Miss Florida USA.
Ledlow is not married, and little is known about her personal life. In a tweet dated September 2015, she mentioned that her ex-boyfriend played baseball at Jacksonville State.
'He dumped me. In a letter. On my counter,' she wrote at the time.
