PLANE MAKES EMERGENCY LANDING DUE TO CABIN CREW FIGHTING

Plane makes emergency landing after cabin crew start fighting
A Delta Airlines plane made an unscheduled stop after members of the cabin crew started fighting.
Rather than drunk passengers getting into a brawl, two of the stewardesses fell out mid-air around 40 minutes into its journey.
The company has blamed the spat on ‘work issues’ which resulted into two cabin crew members exchanging blows and a third member of the crew who tried to intervene being punched in the face.
The plane was flying from Los Angeles to Minneapolis and the captain took the decision to land at Salt Lake City, Utah, so they could all be removed, according to the Aviation Herald.
Another crew was found and the plane with its 300 passengers continued on its journey after 80 minutes.

Passengers received an apology and air miles or travel vouchers.
Delta said: ‘We apologise to those customers who were inconvenienced after flight 2598 from Los Angeles to Minneapolis made an unscheduled stop in Salt Lake City following an altercation involving two flight attendants on board.
‘The actions of these crew members in no way reflect the values and professionalism we expect from all of our employees.
‘We strive to ensure that every customer has a great experience with Delta.
‘We regret that our customers’ experience did not live up to our expectations.”
