It is no longer news that Sunday Oliseh resigned from his post as the chief coach of the Super Eagles on February 26. He made the announcement via his verified Twitter handle, a new development which has been accepted by the Football Federation. A top official of the NFF disclosed to Naij.com sports in Abuja on Friday after Oliseh’s infamous resignation that his car has been seized by the NFF.
“We have given an order to the officials of Bolton Whites apartment to cover Oliseh’s car with a cloth and also that no one should be allowed to move that car from its spot until further notice. “We will ensure that all our belongings in his care will be returned with immediate effect, so far he is no longer our employee, we want all our things back from him,” the source who pleaded anonymity said. “The said car is a brand new Nissan Altima given to him when he resumed work – the car details are NFF – 27f – 15 FG.
The Nigeria U23 coach Samson Siasia and ex-Super Eagles coach Shuaibu Amodu have been lined up as possible replacements for Sunday Oliseh. This comes hours after the ex-midfielder announced his resignation as coach of the Super Eagles on Twitter. Oliseh A committee led by the Rivers state FA chairman Chris Green will meet today, February 26, and one of their deliberations will be to recommend temporary successors to Oliseh.
