Popular broadcaster and entertainment mogul, Dayo Adeneye, has been appointed a Commissioner in Ogun State.
The Odogbolu, Ogun State born Adeneye was during the week appointed as Commissioner of Information and Strategy by the Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun.

D1, as he is popularly known, has been on TV for many years and ran the high profile entertainment outfit “Kennis Music” with his business partner, Kenny Ogungbe.
Both of them are acclaimed to have changed the face of entertainment in Nigeria.
Adeneye headed the Media and Publicity Committee of campaign team of the governor during the last election, which saw Amosun clinching the second term ticket in office.
Adeneye attended the Catholic Primary School in Surulere, Lagos and the Federal School of Arts and Science, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Thereafter, he proceeded to Southern University, Illinois in the United States, where he bagged his first degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Mass Communication
He has since been sworn in and is expected to resume work as soon as possible.
