Kogi State University student stabbed to death on his birthday by fellow student

A student of Kogi State University was stabbed to death today by a fellow student who is now on the run. Ali Umar Sheriff, a 300 level student of the University, was stabbed by a 100 level student whose name was given simply as Santa. According to reports, the pair had a disagreement which soon turned physical. Sheriff picked up a stick and Santa picked up a bottle which he broke and stabbed Sheriff with before he fled the scene. Sheriff was taken to a hospital where he was confirmed dead. Santa remains at large.
